Due to its polished, fluted aluminum body cladding, the famed Trailways bus of the 1930s and 40s gained the nickname ‘Silverside.’ In a decidedly different change of direction from its usual aircraft kits, Ukrainian manufacturer Roden has produced this 1/35 scale PD-3751 "Silverside" bus from 1947. The real machine was unveiled at the 1939 World’s Fair in New York City. It was, in effect the world’s first modern diesel bus and revolutionized public transport.
